Have you heard about the green economy and wondered what it is all about? The green economy is an aspect of Noosa Council’s approach to local economic growth. Green industry development primarily considers the supply of green goods and services (i.e. local industry production and export of the green economy), whereas green consciousness refers to any activity that applies environmentally friendly measures and/or technologies in its work. Project Control Group - Destination Management Project Nathaniel Bromley, Wayne Kayler-Thomson & Michael Tarrant will join a new project control group (PCG) established to guide Noosa’s new Destination Management Plan. The local trio was chosen from a field of 29 candidates to fill three positions on the PCG. Combined, they have extensive experience in business, tourism and community involvement. Each of the remaining 26 applicants will be invited to be a part of a community panel which will provide intelligence & insights at key stages of the plan’s development and provide a sounding board.
